Tip #4: Take advantage of foods that don’t need to be cooked.

When it comes to finding healthy snacks for truckers; carrot sticks, cucumbers, banana with nut butter, beef jerky and nuts are a great sources of protein, fat and fiber that don’t need to be cooked. Rather than eating at the next fast food restaurant you come across, choose one of these raw foods instead at your next stop!

Tip #5: Drink more water!

Although carbonation may give you that bubbly feeling, it’s best to stay away from drinks like pop. Sugary drinks like pop or juice tend to not make you feel as full as a glass of water. Some other problems surrounding sugary drinks are a lack of  nutrients, increased probability of heart disease and the possibility to develop food addiction behaviors. By simply staying away from pop and juice, you can decrease belly fat, feel fuller and be a better you!
